• Screen Replacement

We only use top quality, Grade A screens that come with a lifetime warranty against defect. There are plenty of repair shops out there that get their screens from eBay or Amazon in order to save money, increasing their profit margin. Using cheap screens from these sources can lead to serious problems.

What's worse, the other guy's screens can short out and damage the backlight circuitry on the motherboard. Motherboard damage is the worse case scenario for a phone. Finding out that your phone is irreparably damaged is very stressful...and avoidable.

• Battery Replacement

If you use your phone a lot, at some point you will notice that your battery doesn't hold a charge as long as it used to when it was new. Your battery may also act erratically, such as suddenly dying when it appeared that you had plenty of charge on it. It may also take an extraordinarily long time to charge. Another symptom of a battery on it's way out is that it will swell up. You can tell a battery is swelling when your screen appears to be pushing out away from the frame. The battery can swell so much that it cracks your screen. Swelling is usually caused by the phone getting too hot, like when it's left out in the sun...or left in a hot car. We see this problem more in the summer months.

• Charging Port Replacement

The most common repair that we provide is screen replacement. The second most common...replacing charging ports. The connection pins inside of charging ports are very small, and can be damaged easily. Moisture is what damages those pins the most. Have you ever put your phone inside of the cupholder in your car? Well, condensation from the last cold drink that you had in there will collect in that cup holder. And, that moisture can get into your phone's charging port, causing corrosion...and damage.

• Power Button Repair

Although you wouldn't think that repairing the power button is something you imagined you would ever need to do, sometimes it's needed. Some iPhone models have known issues with power buttons that suddenly stop functioning. Or, you may drop your phone on the power button, causing damage to it. You can still use the phone without repairing that, but it's extremely annoying not being able to shut your screen off when you want to.

Believe it or not, repairing a power button is not that big of a deal. We stock power button assemblies for all models of iPhones, and the repair can typically be completed within an hour.

• Water Damage

The only thing that's more jarring than dropping your iPhone and cracking the screen is dropping your phone into the kitchen sink...or the bathtub...or the toilet. In the warmer months, we also see a lot of phones that have been dropped into swimming pools or that get drenched in the rain.

What we do in our water damage repair process:

The last step is to reassemble the phone, and see if it will come back to life. It typically takes 60-90 minutes to do this. I won't lie to you and tell you that every situation is a success story. As a matter of fact, the success rate hovers around 50%. Any repair shop that tells you that they can definitely get your phone to work again is being less than honest. It's also quite possible that you will need to replace the screen or the battery, as they often get damaged when exposed to moisture.

• Disassemble the phone completely

• Blow out all signs of moisture

• Scrub the motherboard to remove all visible signs of corrosion

• Give the motherboard an alcohol bath in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove any hidden corrosion
